RotaChock is a highly precise alignment solution for equipment of any size, applicable in various industries, from shipping to mining and metallurgy, to the petrochemical industry and the transportation sector.
RotaChock products offer several advantages, including:
1. Speed of installation
Equipment mounted on RotaChock can be aligned or realigned and secured in less than a day. Using resins requires at least three days before the equipment can be put into operation, while using shims involves additional time and production costs.
2. Optimal contact surface
RotaChock features a spherical contact surface that ensures the best possible contact, even if the foundation and the machine’s mounting brackets are not perfectly parallel. Because the RotaChock supports are height-adjustable and work in conjunction with the spherical contact surface, they eliminate the possibility of the phenomenon known as “soft foot.” This phenomenon occurs when the equipment rests with equal force on all mounting brackets.
3. Any tightening force
RotaChock behaves like a solid steel bar. The fastening bolts can be tightened to any desired force. For resins, the maximum allowable force is 3.5 N/mm².
