For commercial shipping, MAN offers a wide range of high-speed four-stroke diesel engines covering a power range from 221 kW to 735 kW (301 CP to 1,000 CP) under heavy-duty operating conditions. Under medium-duty operating conditions, the power range extends from 412 kW to 1,066 kW (560 CP to 1,450 CP). Under light operating conditions (up to 1,000 hours per year, at 20% of maximum load), the power range of the 6-, 8-, and 12-cylinder engines varies from 537 kW to 1,397 kW (730 CP to 1,900 CP).
